Founder & Executive Director
B.S. Health Services Administration, Texas A&M University-Commerce | MBA Candidate, Dec. 2026
Karen is the Founder and Executive Director of Girl Collective, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls ages 10–18 through mentoring, leadership, and community in the DFW area. Her path to founding Girl Collective was shaped by her own experiences as a girl, a passion for mentoring the next generation, and a recognition that young girls in her community deserved a dedicated space to grow, lead, and belong.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and is currently pursuing her MBA from the same institution, with an expected graduation of December 2026. Her background as a General Manager with Hilton gave her a unique lens for building and leading an organization — rooted in operational excellence, people-first leadership, and a commitment to service.
When she's not building Girl Collective, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and pouring into the next generation of young women who remind her every day why this work matters.
